Neria Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how Neria collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use our app and related services. Neria is a portrait image generation app designed to help you turn a single photo or selfie into a more cinematic, share-ready result. We aim to keep our data practices minimal and purpose-limited.

By using Neria, you understand that we process information only to provide the app’s core features, maintain security, support operations, and comply with legal obligations.

Section B – Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Photos, selfies, or other images you upload for generation.
• Any fixed options, preferences, or selections you make inside the app.
• Feedback, ratings, and support messages you send us.
• Purchase-related status information and entitlement details from the Apple App Store, where applicable.

Information collected automatically:

• Device information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and language settings.
• Diagnostic information, crash logs, performance data, and error reports.
• Basic network data such as IP address and connection timestamps for security and reliability purposes.
• Usage information about how you interact with app features, such as opening screens, generation events, and history actions.

Cookies and similar technologies:

• If you visit our website, help pages, or embedded web content, we may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep the experience working properly.
• These technologies are used for basic functionality, preferences, and analytics related to service reliability, not for advertising profiles.

Section C – Data Retention

• Uploaded content: Photos you upload for processing are deleted after processing is completed, unless a copy is needed temporarily to provide the app’s history feature or unless you save the result yourself.
• Generated results: Generated images or results may remain in your in-app history until you delete them. You can remove them at any time.
• Temporary processing data: Temporary working data used during generation is deleted after the generation task finishes.
• Crash logs: Crash logs and diagnostic records may be kept for up to 12 months.
• Support messages: Messages sent to support may be kept for up to 6 months after the request is resolved, unless we need to keep them longer for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize information using reasonable methods.

Section D – User Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, as well as the right to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing.

• Access: You may request information about the data we hold about you.
• Correction: You may ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal and operational limits.
• Export: You may request a copy of certain information in a portable format where required by law.
• Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Section F – How We Use Information

We use information only for legitimate product and operational purposes, including:

• Providing image generation and related app functions.
• Storing and displaying your history and saved results.
• Processing purchases, entitlements, and coins or similar in-app features.
• Responding to support requests and feedback.
• Maintaining service reliability, fixing bugs, and preventing abuse.
• Meeting legal, regulatory, accounting, or security obligations.

We do NOT use your data for AI training.

We do NOT use your data for advertising.

We do NOT use your data for profiling.

We do NOT sell your data.

Section G – AI Processing

All AI processing for Neria is performed exclusively on our own internal servers. We do not send user-uploaded images or user-generated content to any third-party AI service.

We do not use third-party AI providers to process your data, and we do not use your content to train, fine-tune, or optimize AI models.

Temporary inputs used during generation are deleted after the processing task is completed, except where retention is needed for the history feature you can control.

Section H – Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, secure server environments, logging, monitoring, and least-privilege practices.

No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable methods.

Section I – International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed, stored, or accessed in different regions depending on where our servers or infrastructure providers operate. This means your data may be transferred across national or regional boundaries.

When such transfers occur, we take steps intended to protect the information through contractual safeguards and security controls consistent with applicable law.

Section J – Children's Privacy

Neria is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 17, we will take steps to delete it as required by law.

Section K – Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data.

We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party.

We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.

We may use a limited number of third-party services only for cloud storage, server hosting, delivery, or other basic infrastructure operations. Any such provider acts solely on our behalf, only under our instructions, and only for the purposes we specify.

These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect data security and confidentiality. They are not permitted to use user data for advertising, user profiling, AI training, model optimization, their own purposes, redistribution, or any independent access or use of user content.

We do not authorize third parties to independently access, use, or disclose your content except as necessary to perform the infrastructure services we instruct them to provide.

Section L – Face Data / Biometric Information

Neria does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or biometric authentication. We do not create face templates, and we do not use face data to identify you or anyone else.

If you upload a photo, it is used only to generate the requested image result and is deleted after processing, except for any history item you choose to keep in the app.

We do not use facial data for surveillance, profiling, or model training.

Section M – User Consent and Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Neria, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with this policy, you should not use the app or provide us with personal information.
